Message From Secretary

Dear friends
Greetings from the office bearers of IndSPN!
As a society representative, I warmly welcome you to the annual meeting of the Indian Society for Paediatric Neurosurgery.

The organising team, led by the organising Chairman, Prof S.K. Gupta, and organising secretary, Dr Karthigeyan. M, are working diligently to deliver an exceptional educational and scientific event in Chandigarh. The dream city of Chandigarh, regarded as one of the best experiments in urban planning and modern architecture in twentieth-century India, undoubtedly will add to the academic spectacle.

Education has been a primary focus of IndSPN activities. In line with this, the conference theme is "COMPLICATION AVOIDANCE IN PAEDIATRIC NEUROSURGERY". The conference aims to enlighten participants through carefully curated panel discussions by the most experienced on the delicate nuances of complication avoidance.

At Chandigarh, we are also launching the third InDSPN CME Programme. Completing three cycles will earn attendees a Paediatric Neurosurgery course completion certificate. Additionally, the IndSPN has organised more educational activities, including paediatric neurosurgery updates, a quiz, and a meet-the-mentor programme.

The section on updates on the current standards of neurosurgery is intended not only for trainees and young neurosurgeons but also for senior and younger neurosurgeons who may find it challenging to keep up with current standards amidst their busy careers. Alongside the educational activities, participants can expect valuable networking opportunities and the opportunity to exchange ideas with international and national faculty and friends.

As a society, the IndSPN aims to improve the health and well-being of our country's children. We invite you to join us in this responsibility through this educational program and a celebration of the IndSPN.

Regards

Dr SUHAS UDAYAKUMARAN

Secretary, Indian Society for Paediatric Neurosurgery
